Who I Am

Spiritual Direction is usually a 50-60 minute session where you get to talk about your struggles, triumphs, dreams, disappointments... Pretty much anything that is affecting your everyday life. It is a leisurely conversation punctuated with periods of silence and contemplation as a way of deepening your relationship with God.

Anyone can have Spiritual Direction! In fact I see a spiritual director regularly. I have found that in life, there are not many times that I am deeply listened to. Spiritual Direction creates a listening space that is nonjudgmental without any pretence that is healing for the soul.

Most people would see a spiritual director once every 4-6 weeks.

A thin place is an ancient Celtic christian concept where God‘s space overlaps with our space. In a way it's where Heaven meets Earth. My hope in spiritual direction is that God is invited into that time and space as the third member in the session.
